Whitney and Will's Wedding

This past weekend I had the honor of being apart of my best friend's wedding! Whitney and Will got married June 12 and it was honestly the most beautiful wedding I have ever seen. Here are some pictures from the weekend!

It was such a fun, sweet wedding and I am so happy for Whitney and Will!!! 

Things I LOVE!!

I have to admit that I am quite the beauty products collector. I can wander through Wal-Mart and Target for hours looking at the hair products, makeup products, lotions, etc. I am always finding new things to try or stocking up on my favorites!! I decided to share my absolute favorites that have changed my life (haha- that is just what I like to think!)

This detangler is the best I have ever used. I have always had really thick hair and at times really long hair. I am getting to the long hair point again and brushing my hair has gotten to be a chore! I use this after the shower before drying my hair and it has made a HUGE difference. I would definitely recommend this for thick or long hair!! 

This lotion has been a staple for me practically my whole life! I use it every single day in my legs after I shave and it is honestly the best lotion I have ever used! I have tried other brands and they just don't compare to Jergens! 

This is my everyday perfume. It seems light and flowery...perfect for anything! I have worn it for about 6 or 7 years and it has become my favorite scent. 

This is the BEST lip gloss ever!!! I can rarely find it and when I do, I buy all they have!! This color is  called "Vegas Nights" and I wear it every single day. It is a great color for blondes!! 

OPI nail polish..need I say more? :) This is my all-time favorite color..Koala Berry! I wear this color all the time on my nails and it goes with everything. 

This conditioner is seriously the best thing that has ever happened to me (sad, huh?). I have used it for about 5 years and it literally makes your hair grow like a weed!! It is supposed to be a 3 minute mask, but I use it for my everyday conditioner. It makes your hair very soft and super strong so it doesn't break.  

I have always worn Clinique make-up ever since I started wearing make-up! Superfit is my favorite because it stays on all day. I'm sure there are tons of great make-ups, but this is the only thing that I have ever worn so my opinion is not thoroughly researched. :)

This shampoo is one of my favorites, but I do not use it everyday. Tea Tree Oil shampoos tend to dry your hair out so I only use it twice a week. It smells amazing and makes your scalp tingle (in a good way LOL). It is definitely worth a try!!

Whitney's Bridesmaids Luncheon

Whitney had her bridesmaids luncheon this past weekend and it was so much fun! We went to the Chocolate Biscuit in Trussville and the food was delicious!

I absolutely CANNOT wait for summer! Only 10 more days of school...and only 10 days til lake season officially kicks off! We will be celebrating America from Memorial Day to 4th of July to Labor Day!!! How appropriate!

Matt and Molly Sexton's wedding!!

We went to Mississippi this past weekend for the wedding of one of David's best friends from high school! It was in Brandon, MS which is right outside of Jackson.

Jordan's Bachelorette Party!!

Last weekend was Jordan's bachelorette party!!! We all went down to Rosemary Beach and stayed at an AMAZING house! It was fun to get away for the weekend and see Jordan in her prime! Needless to say, we all learned things about Jordan that we never knew :)

Field Trip!!!

Last week, I went on my very first field trip as a teacher!! I took my 4th graders to Montgomery, AL because we are studying Alabama History. It was kind of a flashback for me because I went to Montgomery in the 4th grade as well. It is definitely different being a teacher and having to keep up with students, rather than being a carefree 4th grader just enjoying the trip.

Our first stop was the Capitol.

Next stop, the archives building! Funny story, this is next to Whitney's new office!! Unfortunately, she was in Birmingham having her bridal portraits made so she could not come visit us! :( But, fortunately for her, her pictures turned out AWESOME!! (Just a little side note...)

We also visited Old Alabama Town, which was so fun! I remembered going there as a 4th grader 

myself! Here is my sweet little class..the lady taking our picture wasn't a very good photographer..poor thing. 

Here we are at the Civil Rights Monument! I had never seen it before and it was so neat! There was a fountain that ran over the top and the kids got to put their hands in it. 

Overall, it was a very good day!! I loved watching the kids learn and they genuinely seemed interested in everything they were seeing. Field Trip #1- SUCCESS!!
