Easter

Easter has always been a fun holiday for my family. I have always loved going to church for the Easter service, having a huge lunch with my family, and hunting Easter eggs!! I thought I'd do a little throw-back post for Easter and show some old school pics! They are more fun than the current ones, anyway :) I LOVE old pictures. I think it is because I had such an AWESOME childhood! It always makes me smile to look back on all the fun things I was fortunate enough to do and have as a child. 

This is me with the Easter Bunny. My dad, granddad, uncle are all Shriners and we always went to the huge Easter party they had every year. 

Egg hunting as a child! We always had Easter at my Popette and Poppy's house and had such a fun egg hunt!! 

Now, for those who have sisters, I'm sure you had to deal with the dreaded "matching dresses" on any given holiday. Easter was no exception for us! Here are some lovely bubblesuits that my mom had made for us...please control your laughter :) 

While I am on the topic of matching dresses, I thought I'd throw in a couple of Christmas pics because we ALWAYS had matching dresses for Christmas! 

We would be here for days if I attempted to scan in all our "matching dresses" pictures. I just wanted to share a few because they always make me smile.

Now, I am READY for summer!!!! I wish I could still spend my days doing this at Popette's house! :)
